Vibal Expands Business, Location

After 15 years in G. Araneta Avenue, leading integrated education and technology firm Vibal Group made the strategic move to relocate to Cubao, Quezon City.

Vibal Group’s main office in Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City features an open layout that spans the entire third floor of Cyberpark Tower One.

Taking over the entire third floor of newly constructed Cyberpark Tower One, the move was done to bring Vibal’s business right to Quezon City’s center of BPO and commerce, an expansion befitting the 65-year-old company that has built on the success of its publishing house to establish itself as a key player in education and technology.

“This is not just relocation,” Vibal Chief Operating Officer Kristine Mandigma said. “This is expansion. Vibal is at its peak right now and is stronger than ever as a fully-integrated education and technology company. Moving to Cubao, the heart of Quezon City, arguably the heart of Metro Manila, is a very logical step.”

The office features an open layout that promotes close collaboration among its 300 employees. Modern paintings and sculptures by notable Filipino artists adorn every wall and corner. With a pantry that serves free lunch and coffee, a gym with in-house trainers, a vast library, a training room, and a museum on the way, Vibal’s new main office presents the company as bigger and bolder.

The lobby of the main office features cultural and scientific artifacts. A museum for rare books and music will soon open here.

The Training Room caters to the employees’ training needs, from workshops to benchmarking exams. On Socials Nights, the tables and chairs are dragged to the corners to make room for karaoke parties or film showing.

The gym is for the exclusive free use of Vibal employees. The company employs two in-house fitness trainers to promote wellness.

The Vibal inhouse library houses rare books and prints.

What used to be the main office in G. Araneta Avenue remains a Vibal property as a facility mainly dedicated to printing, production, and storage. A huge part of the area was also turned into a sports arena with a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a badminton court for the exclusive use of Vibal employees.

Relocation was not limited to the main office in Manila. Vibal’s Cebu office also moved from isolated Nivel Hills in Lahug to busy Cebu Holdings Center in Cebu Business Park. The perks enjoyed by Vibal employees in the main office also extend to the staff in Visayas and Mindanao.

Vibal Group’s main office is now located at 3/F Cyberpark Tower One, Gen. Aguinaldo Ave., Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. Vibal printing plant is at 1253 G. Araneta Ave., Quezon City. Vibal’s Cebu office is located at 2/F 202 Cebu Holdings Center, Cebu Business Park, Cardinal Rosales Ave., Cebu City. Vibal’s Davao office is at 2/F Appartile Bldg., Tulip Drive, Matina, Davao City.
