Vibal Talks Hybrid and Multicloud Migration at National ICT Summit

June 30th, 2017

A few months after the launch of the Government Cloud project or GovCloudPH, Vibal Group is back on track in promoting government transparency and public sector efficiency through technology at the National ICT Summit.

Presenting under the Industry 4.0 Technologies for Government track during the parallel talks was Abigail Echano, Vibal’s Head of Product Management, who enlightened the crowd with her discussion on hybrid and multicloud migration.

“Hybrid cloud is the first phase to a multicloud strategy. Multicloud will give more flexibility and autonomy to meet different needs for different applications and will prove cost-effective in the long run,” Echano said.

In her presentation, Echano highlighted how Vibal as a company has long been using hybrid and multicloud technologies to make operations more cost-effective and efficient. “Vibal is an expert on network and solutions design for either a private cloud, hybrid, or multicloud implementation,” she stressed.

As a sponsor of the national event, Vibal Group also promoted its roster of technology solutions in its booth. The first law book on data privacy and cybercrime prevention laws published by the integrated education and technology company was also featured.

Held at EDSA Shangri-La on June 28-29, the summit opened with Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary Denis Villorente. In another discussion, Undersecretary Villorente talked about the GovCloudPH project in partnership with Vibal.
