Food and Beverage Services introduces students to the fundamental skills and theories related to the industry. This includes concepts and practices in guest management, events, food handling and promotion, room service, and concerns handling and troubleshooting in the restaurant business setting. The textbook makes use of simple language that equally promotes easy reading and learning complemented with pen-and-paper tests and performance tasks that simulate real-world scenarios related to food service—all of which help students take on related career opportunities in the future.
