Dr. Chin Uy, Ninia Calaca, Nestor Noble, Ronaldo Manalo

Espousing the problem-based approach, the Statistics and Probability explains the basic concepts in statistics in the context of day-to-day experiences. Particularly, it guides students in finding the mean and variance of a random variable, applying sampling techniques and distributions, estimating population mean and proportion, performing hypothesis testing on population mean and proportion, and determining correlation and regression analyses as applied in the various facets of life.
